Officials identified unauthorized access by unsuitable vehicles, including standard city cars, which violates the 2021 Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) terms. The use of quad bikes was specifically highlighted, citing driver inexperience and the presence of underage passengers as major accident risks. The report also mentions negative environmental impacts such as noise pollution affecting hikers and cyclists. The Audit Office emphasized that the state is responsible for enforcing access regulations to protect both visitors and the ecosystem. Authorities are urged to take immediate measures to ensure compliance with existing vehicle restrictions.
