Cyprus ship management revenue exceeded 1 billion euros in H2 2025
According to the Central Bank of Cyprus, ship management revenue reached over 1 billion euros in the second half of 2025, a 2.3% increase from the first half. This figure accounts for 5.4% of the country's semi-annual GDP. Operating expenses were recorded at 897 million euros, showing a marginal 0.2% increase. Full management services remained the primary revenue source, accounting for 51.2% of the total. Germany maintained its position as the leading trade partner with a 28% market share, followed by Switzerland at 15% and Greece at 12%. The sector's performance significantly exceeded the 2019-2021 average, which had been negatively impacted by the pandemic and increased crew management costs. Approximately 60% of companies reported revenues exceeding 2 million euros, with half of those earning over 15 million euros.
