Dead crocodile found in a canal in Roubaix, France
On Sunday night, a fisherman discovered the carcass of a crocodile in a canal in Roubaix, northern France. The reptile, measuring approximately one meter in length, was found tied with chains and weighted down, and was reportedly wrapped inside what appeared to be a sleeping bag. The discovery was made using a magnet fishing technique. The remains of the animal were handed over to the Animal Protection Association (LPA). Local authorities confirmed the incident, and the Lille public prosecutor's office has launched an investigation into the matter. A video capturing the find was circulated on social media, in which the fisherman describes the discovery as unusual and bizarre.
