Shooting incident at Leinbach Park in Winston-Salem

On a Monday morning, a shooting occurred at Leinbach Park in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, near Thomas Jefferson Middle School. Police were notified shortly before 10 a.m. following reports of an active shooter. Preliminary investigations indicate the incident started as an altercation between teenagers that escalated when weapons were produced. Emergency services confirmed that multiple individuals died at the scene, while at least three others were transported to local hospitals for treatment.
