Vladimiros Tziortzis competes in NASCAR Euro Series opening round in Valencia

Cypriot driver Vladimiros Tziortzis competed in the opening round of the 2026 NASCAR Euro Series held on April 18-19 at the Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia. Representing the SPEEDHOUSE team, Tziortzis participated in two distinct categories: V8GP and OPEN. In the OPEN category, he secured 4th and 5th place finishes. In the V8GP category, he recorded an 11th-place finish in the second race. Preparation for the weekend was affected by a mechanical failure during testing on April 17, when a brake malfunction caused his vehicle to crash into a wall at 200 km/h. Despite the severity of the incident, the car chassis remained intact, allowing him to participate in the scheduled races. Tziortzis noted that his performance in V8GP was hampered by this incident, though he expressed satisfaction with the points accumulated throughout the weekend.
