Eurovision 2026 performance details and budget for Greece
The 70th Eurovision Song Contest will take place in Vienna in May 2026, with semi-finals scheduled for May 12 and May 14, followed by the grand final on May 16. Akylas Mytilinaios will represent Greece with the song 'Ferto' in the first semi-final on May 12, while Antigoni will represent Cyprus in the second semi-final on May 14, appearing ninth in the running order. The Hellenic Broadcasting Corporation (ERT) has officially approved a budget of up to 168,568 euros, excluding VAT and taxes, to cover the production and stage presentation of the Greek entry. This decision was published on the Diavgeia portal following public speculation regarding the costs of the mission. ERT formally addressed these rumors, stating that circulating figures regarding the budget were inaccurate and exaggerated. The Greek team continues to promote the entry in various European cities ahead of the contest.
