British police investigate Iranian links to arson attacks on London Jewish sites

British counter-terrorism police are investigating a series of arson attacks on Jewish targets in London, including a recent incident at the Kenton United Synagogue in the Harrow area. While the Kenton synagogue suffered only minor smoke damage and no injuries occurred, this is the third such attack in the city within a week. Security groups also noted recent incidents in Finchley, Golders Green, and Hendon, as well as the burning of Hatzola emergency vehicles last month. Authorities are examining potential links between these attacks and a pro-Iranian group that has claimed responsibility for similar actions across Europe. Chief Rabbi Ephraim Mirvis described the events as a sustained campaign of violence and intimidation against the UK Jewish community. Additionally, police cordoned off the area around the Israeli embassy following drone reports, though they later confirmed the discovered items were not hazardous. Law enforcement officials stated they remain vigilant regarding the threat of Iranian hostile activity in the UK.
