Iran reports rapid military replenishment following February strikes

On Sunday, Commander Majid Mousavi of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Aerospace Force stated that Iran is accelerating the upgrade and renewal of its missile and drone systems. This announcement follows joint military strikes by the United States and Israel on February 28, which were intended to weaken Iranian offensive capabilities. To support these claims, Iranian officials released video footage showing an unidentified underground facility housing missiles and launchers. Concurrently, The New York Times reported US intelligence assessments indicating that Iran retains 70 percent of its pre-war ballistic missile inventory and 60 percent of its launchers. The same report notes that Iran still possesses approximately 40 percent of its original drone arsenal. Following an April 8 ceasefire, Iran has reportedly recovered 100 additional launchers and is working to retrieve munitions buried under debris from the February attacks. While Tehran claims its rearmament pace exceeds pre-war levels, international observers note the conflicting nature of these claims amidst ongoing regional tensions. Reuters stated it could not independently verify the authenticity of the Iranian video.
