Large fire reported at oil terminal in Russia's Krasnodar region

On April 18, 2026, a large fire broke out at an oil terminal in the Tikhoretsk district, located northeast of Krasnodar in southwestern Russia. Local authorities confirmed the incident and stated that 224 firefighters and 56 vehicles were deployed to contain the blaze. As of now, there are no reports of casualties resulting from the fire.
