Car accident involving seven minors in Nicosia

In the early hours of Saturday, April 18, a 16-year-old driver lost control of a car while carrying six other passengers aged 15 to 17. The vehicle overturned and struck a metal fence at a roundabout connecting Kantaras Avenue and Agios Ilarionas Avenue in the Pallouriotissa area of Nicosia. Authorities report that the car belongs to a company managed by the driver’s father, and they are currently investigating how the teenager obtained the vehicle. Following the crash, the driver and several passengers were transported to Nicosia General Hospital. While most were examined and discharged, one 15-year-old was transferred to Makarios Hospital for precautionary observation. Police are investigating reports that the vehicle may have been traveling at high speed. No other vehicles were involved in the incident.
