Alma movement announces three new candidates for the 2026 parliamentary elections
The transitional Executive Secretariat of the Alma-Citizens for Cyprus movement has announced three additional candidates for the 2026 parliamentary elections. Frosso Emmanouil and Anastasia Kyprianou were named as candidates for the Nicosia district, while Maria Loizou was selected for the Larnaca district. These appointments complete the movement's electoral lists for the Nicosia and Larnaca provinces. The new candidates replace Dimitris Papadakis and Nikos Stylianidis on the ballot. Frosso Emmanouil is a journalist with over 13 years of experience and holds an economics degree from the University of Patras. The movement stated that the selection process for the remaining five candidates is currently ongoing.
