Cyprus Allwyn water polo championship reaches final round

The 14th and final round of the Allwyn water polo championship 2025-2026 takes place this weekend to determine the league title. APOEL currently leads the standings with 29 points, holding a one-point advantage over the Nautical Club of Larnaca. APOEL needs a victory in their match against the Nautical Club of Famagusta, scheduled for Saturday at 17:45 at the Nicosia Olympic Pool, to secure their sixth league title. If APOEL draws or loses, they could lose the championship to Larnaca, provided Larnaca wins their match against the Nautical Club of Limassol today at 13:00. The Nautical Club of Limassol also remains in contention for second place, which they could secure if they defeat Larnaca by a margin of more than five goals or by five goals with a score lower than 15-10. The final match of the season will be held on Sunday between the Nautical Club of Nicosia and the Nautical Club of Mesa Geitonia. The current standings show APOEL in first place, followed by Larnaca and Limassol.
