Christodoula march postponed due to poor weather
The Cyprus Anti-Cancer Society and the Bank of Cyprus have officially postponed the annual Christodoula March. The event, originally scheduled for Saturday, April 18, 2026, was delayed following a forecast of severe weather conditions from the Meteorological Service. Organisers stated that the safety of participants, volunteers, and staff was the primary factor behind this decision. The event has been successfully rescheduled for Saturday, April 25, 2026. The march will commence simultaneously in all cities at 3.30pm as originally planned. This initiative aims to provide support and free services to individuals affected by cancer and their families. Participants are encouraged to check online resources for details regarding starting points and contribution procedures. The organisers expressed their gratitude to the public for their continued support and understanding regarding the schedule change.
