Three people arrested for drug possession in Larnaca
On Thursday at 3:30 p.m., police in Larnaca stopped a vehicle occupied by a 26-year-old driver and two passengers, aged 30 and 23. During a search, authorities found 26 nylon packages containing a total of 14 grams of heroin. Investigations revealed that the 30-year-old and 23-year-old were residing illegally in the Republic of Cyprus, while the 26-year-old driver lacked a valid vehicle registration and certificate of roadworthiness. Following the initial stop, a search was conducted at the suspects' residence, where police seized 190 euros. Additionally, a 24-year-old woman was arrested at the residence for illegal stay. All three original suspects were detained under judicial warrants for the charges of illegal possession and intent to supply drugs. The Larnaca branch of the Drug Law Enforcement Unit continues the investigation.
