Plenary Session: Voted for the first time on the budget of the Social Insurance Fund – What are the expenses and what is the revenue

The Cypriot Parliament approved the 2026 budgets for four state funds. These include the Social Insurance Fund (TKA), with expenditures of €2.74 billion and a surplus budget, and the Central Holiday Fund, also with a surplus, having €132.4 million in expenses. Furthermore, the budget for the Fund for the Protection of Employee Rights in case of Employer Insolvency was approved, exhibiting a significant surplus. Finally, the budget for the Fund for Redundant Personnel was approved, outlining expenses of €58.1 million.
