Marta Kos in Ankara tomorrow

European Commissioner for Enlargement, Marta Kos, will visit Ankara for two days to strengthen cooperation between the EU and Turkey. Discussions will cover regional issues, economic and trade cooperation including the EU-Turkey Customs Union, and refugee support. Kos will meet with Turkish Vice President Cevdet Yilmaz, Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, Trade Minister Omer Bolat, and Finance Minister Mehmet Simsek. The visit is scheduled for February 6-7, 2026.
