YouTube and Instagram suspend Explosive Media account
YouTube suspended the channel Explosive Media on March 27 for violating policies regarding spam, deceptive practices, and scams. The channel was known for posting AI-generated videos featuring Lego-style figures, often depicting US President Donald Trump in mocking scenarios. These videos gained millions of views following the outbreak of the conflict between the US, Israel, and Iran on February 28. While Explosive Media presented itself as independent, it is widely considered to have links to Iran as part of an online propaganda campaign. Instagram also reportedly closed a related account, though others using the same name remained active. The entity continues to distribute anti-American content on other platforms, including X and Telegram. Meta, the parent company of Instagram, has not provided an official comment regarding the matter. The suspension follows a period of heightened geopolitical tensions and digital information warfare.
