Cyprus University of Technology students hold carnival-themed art exhibition
Students from the Department of Fine Arts at the Cyprus University of Technology (TEPAK) organized an exhibition at the Carnival Museum in Limassol. The art showcase examines the Limassol Carnival as a complex social phenomenon affecting the urban fabric and collective identity. Through various media including video, audio landscapes, interactive projects, and installations, students explored themes such as isolation, social critique, commodification, and environmental impact. The exhibition serves as a reflection on how public spectacles function as platforms for personal and social commentary. The Department of Fine Arts offers undergraduate programs in two-dimensional and three-dimensional art, alongside technological applications like photography and digital imaging. Additionally, the department provides graduate and doctoral programs, incorporating history, theory, architecture, and philosophy into its curriculum.
