Overview of cultural and artistic events across Cyprus
Cyprus is hosting numerous cultural events this weekend including theatre, art exhibitions, and festivals. Katerina Vrana performs her stand-up show 'Charika!' at the Satiriko Theatre in Nicosia on April 25 and the Laniteion Theatre in Limassol. The Cyprus Theatre Organisation presents 'Topos Mnimis' at the Nikos Charalambous New Stage from April 24 to 29 to honor the 71st anniversary of the EOKA liberation struggle. The comedy 'Two and a Half Murders and a Bulldog!' premieres at Anemona Theatre in Latsia, with ongoing performances in Paphos and Larnaca. Art exhibitions include 'Bill Viola. Unspoken' at the PSI Foundation in Limassol until August 1 and Silia Filippou’s 'The Charm of the Visible' at Gloria Gallery in Nicosia until May 15. The 5th International Larnaca Poetry Festival runs from April 23 to 26, while book presentations and guitar recitals are scheduled throughout Nicosia. Additional historical exhibitions mark the 200th anniversary of the Exodus of Messolonghi at the University of Cyprus until May 21.
