RIK President: No one knows what money and investments the Pension Fund has

The Chairman of RIK (CyBC) stated to the parliamentary Internal Affairs Committee that the last pension fund accounts were made in 2020, and the fund's assets are currently unknown. He also reported illegalities within the Welfare Fund. The CyBC board has reinstated Programs Director Elmos Neokleous, reversing a previous decision. Disciplinary proceedings against Neokleous are facing leaks, creating further complications. The Chairman mentioned the lack of accounts for CyBC, adding the CFO would not proceed with the CyBC accounts before the pension fund accounts are finalised.
