Motorcycle fire in Nicosia investigated as potential arson

On the evening of the previous day, a fire broke out on a motorcycle in an open area of Nicosia around 6:00 p.m. The vehicle, owned by a 33-year-old man, sustained extensive damage. The Fire Service responded to the scene and successfully extinguished the flames. The Cyprus Police and the Fire Service were mobilized immediately following reports of the incident. Authorities stated that initial investigations suggest the fire was an act of malicious intent. The Nicosia Criminal Investigation Department (TAE) has taken over the case. Currently, investigations are ongoing to determine the exact cause of the fire, identify the perpetrators, and establish a motive.
