Panathinaikos finishes Euroleague regular season in seventh place

In the 38th and final round of the Euroleague regular season, Panathinaikos defeated Anadolu Efes 97-62 at the Telekom Center Athens. Despite the victory, Ergin Ataman's team finished in 7th place after Zalgiris Kaunas defeated Paris, securing a top-six spot. Panathinaikos concluded the season with a 22-16 record. The team will now enter the play-in tournament, hosting Monaco on April 21 to compete for the 7th seed and a playoff series against Valencia. If defeated, Panathinaikos will play a second chance game on April 24 at home against the winner of Barcelona versus Crvena Zvezda to secure the 8th seed, which leads to a playoff series against Olympiacos. Olympiacos finished the regular season in first place with 26 wins after a victory against Armani Milano.
