Britney Spears enters rehabilitation facility following arrest
Pop singer Britney Spears has voluntarily entered a rehabilitation facility following her arrest in early March. On Wednesday, March 4, Spears was stopped by the California Highway Patrol in Ventura County for erratic driving, with subsequent tests confirming the presence of drugs and alcohol. After being briefly detained and released, her manager described the incident as unjustifiable and stated the singer would comply with legal requirements. Reports indicate that her two sons played a key role in her decision to seek treatment, encouraging her to prioritize her health. The singer's representatives have confirmed she is undergoing a recovery program. Despite her career achievements, including the 2022 success of 'Hold Me Closer' and the 2023 memoir 'The Woman in Me', she has faced significant personal challenges. In late 2025, Spears sold her music catalog to Primary Wave for an undisclosed sum. Her memoir is currently being adapted into a film directed by Jon M. Chu.
