Delivery driver robbed of electric bicycle in Limassol

On Monday night, April 13, 2026, a 24-year-old food delivery driver reported a theft in a dark area of Limassol. At approximately 9:30 p.m., while arriving at a delivery location, the driver observed three to four individuals in dark clothing approaching him aggressively. Fearing for his safety, the driver abandoned his electric bicycle, which had his mobile phone mounted on it, and fled the scene on foot. The suspects took the bicycle and the phone but did not physically strike the victim. Police from the Moni station are currently investigating the incident. Authorities are reviewing CCTV footage and gathering witness statements to identify the perpetrators. No arrests have been made at this time.
