Reports suggest potential coaching changes for the Saudi Arabian national football team

The national team recently suffered losses to Egypt and Serbia in friendly matches and struggled to qualify through playoffs following a draw with Iraq. The Saudi Arabian Football Federation is reportedly seeking a candidate with experience in local football, narrowing the list to managers like Giorgos Donis, Pedro Emanuel, and Péricles Chamusca. Additionally, the federation is undergoing administrative changes, as the contract of technical director Nasser Larguet will not be renewed this June. Matt Crocker, currently with the U.S. Soccer Federation, is expected to replace Larguet. Crocker previously held positions at Southampton, focusing on academy development and operational strategy. The federation aims for a restructure to improve national team performance.
