Two separate attempted murder cases investigated in Larnaca
Cypriot authorities are currently investigating two distinct attempted murder incidents in Larnaca. In the first case, a 22-year-old man was remanded for six days after allegedly driving his vehicle into his girlfriend's ex-partner following a dispute outside a nightclub. The victim, who was hit with the car and thrown over the roof, sustained injuries. Separately, police are searching for a 24-year-old Syrian suspect regarding a stabbing on April 12. In that incident, a 19-year-old Greek Cypriot was attacked at a coastal nightclub after an accidental bump in the crowd escalated into a confrontation. The victim suffered a 3cm kidney wound from a sharp object and remains hospitalized in serious but stable condition. Police have identified the suspect in the stabbing case and issued an arrest warrant.
