Priest interrupts Easter service in Kanalia, Magnesia due to fireworks

On the night of the Resurrection, a priest in Kanalia, Magnesia, temporarily halted the church service shortly before the announcement of "Christos Anesti." The interruption occurred after a group of youths in the church courtyard prepared to set off fireworks. The priest addressed the individuals directly, stating that the noise was causing distress to residents of a nearby nursing home. He noted that approximately 60 elderly people were residing in the adjacent facility. During the confrontation, the priest instructed the youths to leave and suspended the service. After the situation was resolved, the mass resumed, and the ceremony concluded in a more composed atmosphere.
