Two injured during unauthorized fireworks incident in Velo, Corinth

On the evening of Holy Saturday, April 11, at approximately 22:00, a serious accident occurred in Velo, Corinth. Two men were injured while attempting to use an improvised firework device known as a 'saita' from a balcony. A 19-year-old Ukrainian national suffered a severe hand injury, resulting in the amputation of a finger, and was transported to KAT Hospital in Athens. A 24-year-old Greek man sustained an eye injury and was admitted to George Gennimatas Hospital.
