Boat destroyed by fire in Kofinou

A boat belonging to a 67-year-old individual was completely destroyed by a fire in the village of Kofinou in the Larnaca district. The incident was reported at approximately 3:50 am on Easter Sunday. At the time of the fire, the vessel was stored on a trailer in an open field, located away from any coastline. The fire brigade responded to the scene and successfully extinguished the flames. Authorities have cordoned off the area to conduct a thorough investigation. The case is currently being handled by the Larnaca Criminal Investigation Department in cooperation with the Kofinou police station.
