Archbishop Georgios issues Easter message ahead of upcoming parliamentary elections

In his Easter message, the Archbishop of Cyprus, Georgios, called for national unity and resilience, comparing the history of the Greek nation to the life and resurrection of Christ. He emphasized that the survival of the homeland and the health of state institutions depend on the outcome of these elections. Furthermore, he highlighted that the nation must remain committed to the struggle for liberation to avoid national demise.
