Cyprus Film Days 2026 children and youth programme

The 24th International Festival Cyprus Film Days 2026 will feature a dedicated section for children and youth from April 18 to April 24, 2026. The event will take place in the cities of Nicosia and Limassol. Screenings are scheduled at the Rialto Theatre in Limassol and the K Cineplex Prime in Nicosia. Admission to all screenings is free of charge. The selection includes both feature and short films from international directors, with a focus on themes of adolescence, personal identity, and social challenges. All films will be presented in their original languages accompanied by Greek and English subtitles. One of the highlighted feature films is the 2023 drama 'Sisterhood (HLM Pussy)' by director Nora El Hourch, which examines issues of sexual violence and consent. The festival aims to provide a platform for stories that reflect the experiences and aspirations of the younger generation.
