Recent fatalities reported in Gaza due to air strike and gunfire incidents
An air strike on a police checkpoint in Bureij camp in central Gaza resulted in at least six deaths and multiple injuries, according to health officials. The identity of all victims remains unconfirmed, and the Israeli military has not provided an immediate comment. Separately, health and education officials reported that Israeli forces shot and killed a student, Ritaj Rihan, in Beit Lahiya in northern Gaza. The incident reportedly occurred while the student was attending an improvised class in a tent. Since an October agreement intended to curb violence, both Israel and Hamas have accused each other of violations. Reports indicate that over 700 Palestinians have been killed since the agreement, alongside the deaths of three Israeli soldiers. Meanwhile, the displaced population continues to face severe humanitarian conditions with limited infrastructure and security.
