Andy Robertson to depart Liverpool at the end of the 2025-26 season

Liverpool Football Club has officially announced that Andy Robertson will leave the team when his contract expires in the summer of 2026. The 32-year-old Scottish defender joined the club from Hull City in 2017 and has made 373 appearances to date. During his tenure under manager Arne Slot and his predecessors, Robertson contributed 13 goals and 69 assists. He has been part of a highly successful period for the club, winning a Premier League title, a Champions League trophy, the FA Cup, and two League Cups. His list of honors also includes the FIFA Club World Cup, the UEFA Super Cup, and the Community Shield. Despite the announcement, the player remains focused on completing the current 2025-26 season with the team. Robertson previously played for Queen's Park, Dundee United, and Hull City before his nine-year spell at Anfield.
