Akamas Municipality signs contract for new roundabout in Pegeia

The Municipality of Akamas has officially signed a contract for the construction of a new roundabout at the intersection of Tasou Markou and Koliaka streets in Pegeia. The agreement was signed by the Mayor of Akamas, Marinos Lambrou, and a representative of the construction firm Sotiris Costa Constructions Ltd. The project was awarded to the company following an open tender process. The total value of the contract is 68,698 euros, excluding VAT. The project is fully funded by the municipal budget of Akamas. Construction is scheduled to be completed within two months. The local authorities state that the roundabout is intended to alleviate traffic congestion and improve safety for both drivers and pedestrians in the area.
