Water supply disruptions reported in Limassol

Water supply has been interrupted in two separate areas of Limassol due to main pipe bursts. In Ypsonas, a pipe failure has affected the central Ilias Kannouros street and surrounding roads including Orfeos, Oresti, Ioanninon, Pyladis, Faidras, Efkleidou, Dimitriou Papanikoli, Efterpis, Kreontos, and Petraki Giallourou. The Limassol District Organisation (EOA) stated that water service in Ypsonas is expected to be restored by noon on Saturday, April 11. Separately, a burst main at the intersection of Vionos and Narkissos streets in the Mesa Geitonia area has cut water supply to several streets. Affected roads in Mesa Geitonia include Vionos, Moschou, Narkissos, Kallimachou, Marias Synklitikis, Iakovou Patatsou, Stylianou Lena, Valtetsiou, Glafkou Alithefsis, and Poulias. Repair crews from the Limassol District Organisation are currently working on the Mesa Geitonia site. Restoration of the Mesa Geitonia water supply is scheduled for the early afternoon of Thursday, April 9, 2026.
