Recent traffic accidents reported in Nicosia and Limassol
On Thursday, April 9, two distinct traffic incidents occurred in Cyprus. In Nicosia, a collision involving two vehicles took place near the Strovolos town hall in the afternoon, resulting in one person being transported to a hospital. Separately, in the early hours of the same day in Germasogeia, Limassol, a collision occurred between a vehicle driven by a 19-year-old and another driven by a 22-year-old woman. Reports indicate that a total of six individuals were involved in the Limassol incident, which left both vehicles with extensive damage. Two young women, aged 22 and 19, were hospitalized with minor injuries and bruises. Police confirmed that alcohol tests conducted on the drivers in the Limassol incident yielded negative results. Authorities are currently investigating the circumstances of both crashes, though specific details regarding the Nicosia victim's health status remain undisclosed.
