Cyprus Stock Exchange market activity for Tuesday and Wednesday

The Cyprus Stock Exchange (CSE) recorded growth on both Tuesday and Holy Wednesday. On Tuesday, the General Index rose by 1.49% to close at 265.26 points with a trading volume of €448,651.09, involving 154 transactions. By Holy Wednesday, the General Index climbed further to 280.29 points, a 5.67% increase, with a significantly higher trading volume of €1,123,590.36 across 543 transactions. On Tuesday, key stocks like Bank of Cyprus and Logicom saw gains, while Investment Companies declined by 1.07%. Wednesday saw broader market growth, with all sub-indices increasing, led by the Main Market at 6.38%. On Holy Wednesday, Bank of Cyprus reached €9.08 per share, while Logicom saw a notable rise of 9.77%. Atlantic Insurance experienced fluctuating performance, falling by 0.82% on Wednesday after a 7.96% gain on Tuesday.
