Registration for 2026 National Guard conscripts

The Cyprus Ministry of Defence has announced that the online platform for the 2026 military recruitment series (ESSO) will be active from April 17 at 12:00 until midnight on May 3, 2026. Conscripts are required to submit their details and necessary supporting documents through the government portal at https://www.gov.cy under the 'Conscription' section. Accessing the portal necessitates the creation and authentication of a personal user profile. The submission process is essential for the National Guard to allocate conscripts to specific branches, units, and specialized roles. These roles include candidacy for reserve officers (cadets) and service in special forces such as commando units, military police, and the underwater demolition team (OYK). Additionally, the registration covers positions in technical specialties, high-tech units, and the military music band. Conscripts are advised to prepare digital copies of their documents in formats such as pdf, jpg, or png in advance to facilitate the process. Failure to establish and verify a personal profile should be addressed immediately to ensure a smooth registration experience.
