Two teachers from an Arizona high school charged with misconduct involving the same student
Two teachers at Centennial High School in Arizona are facing accusations of engaging in inappropriate conduct with the same male student. Haley Beck, 27, a psychology teacher hired in 2020, was fired following allegations of sexual contact, providing financial payments, grade inflation, and allowing the student to use her vehicle. Angela Burlaca, 47, resigned from her position after 25 years of service after allegedly sending the student a sexually explicit video. Investigations began in July 2024 when the student's grandmother discovered the video sent by Burlaca and reported it to authorities. Subsequent police reports indicate that the student's mother was aware of her son's interactions with Beck. Rumors regarding the teachers had been circulating at the school for months prior to both being placed on administrative leave in August. The legal documents suggest Beck and Burlaca were acquainted with each other.
