Fire department reports multiple residential blazes across Cyprus

The Cyprus Fire Department responded to several residential fires recently. In Paralimni, a kitchen fire on Tuesday at 6:36 am, caused by an overheating charger, damaged furniture and equipment. On Wednesday at 4:58 am, a fire in an abandoned mud-brick house in Agioi Trimithias, Nicosia, destroyed scrap materials; authorities are investigating potential arson. Additionally, a major fire broke out at 6:02 am on Wednesday in a Larnaca house. Six residents evacuated safely before firefighters arrived and gained control of the blaze by 6:41 am. The fire resulted in the destruction of the second floor and the collapse of the wooden roof. Paramedics examined the occupants on-site, and no major injuries were reported. Investigations into the causes of the Larnaca and Agioi Trimithias incidents remain ongoing.
