Contract extension talks between Giorgos Donis and Al-Khaleej stall

Talks regarding a contract extension for manager Giorgos Donis at Al-Khaleej have stalled following a disagreement over financial terms. The 56-year-old coach’s current contract is set to expire this summer. According to reports from the newspaper Al Riyadiyah, the club rejected Donis's request for a salary increase. The management has asked the Greek coach to reconsider his financial demands and submit a revised proposal to continue negotiations. Donis took charge of the club based in Saihat in July 2024. During his tenure, he has managed 63 matches, recording 20 victories, 13 draws, and 30 losses.
