BMW iX3 named 2026 World Car of the Year

The BMW iX3, the inaugural model of the Neue Klasse series, has been awarded the title of 2026 World Car of the Year. In addition to the main award, the vehicle also secured the title of 2026 World Electric Vehicle. The decision was reached following evaluations by a jury consisting of 98 journalists from 33 countries. The model outperformed 57 competitors in the main category and 43 in the electric vehicle category. This achievement marks the tenth and eleventh total World Car Awards titles won by the BMW Group. The vehicle features the new BMW Panoramic iDrive infotainment system and a revised design language. These accolades reflect the jury's assessment of its technical features, performance, and driving dynamics.
