Takis Lemonis parts ways with Radnicki Nis
The Serbian football club Radnicki Nis has announced the departure of its 65-year-old coach, Takis Lemonis. Lemonis had taken charge of the club in early December, marking his return to coaching after nearly eight years away from the bench. During his 11-match tenure, he recorded a record of 5 wins, 2 draws, and 4 losses, with a goal difference of 13-13. The team initially showed promise, including a 1-0 victory over Zeljeznicar, and came close to qualifying for the Super Liga playoffs. However, a recent streak of three consecutive defeats forced the team to compete in the playouts. Despite the current struggles, the club remains in a competitive position for the battle against relegation. This decision was announced abruptly by the Serbian management.
