Limassol to host the 7th annual Fetisov Journalism Awards on April 22

The 7th annual Fetisov Journalism Awards will take place on Wednesday, April 22, at the Parklane Resort and Spa in Limassol, Cyprus. The event will begin at 18:30 and will be attended by state officials, media executives, and international journalists. This year, the competition reached a record participation level with approximately 500 entries submitted from 80 countries. The jury has selected 12 winners across four categories: Investigative Journalism, Human Rights Reporting, Peace Journalism, and Excellence in Environmental Journalism. The winners will share a total prize fund exceeding €560,000. Their identities remain confidential until the ceremony. Before the awards, an international meeting will be held to discuss current trends and developments in the global news sector.
