Dimitris Papadakis submits mobile phone forensic report to police

Former Member of the European Parliament Dimitris Papadakis has commissioned a private digital forensic expert to examine his mobile phone. The report, which is being submitted to the police today, concludes that the alleged controversial text messages are not present on the device. These allegations were originally raised by Makarios Drousiotis, who claimed that Papadakis had exchanged messages with former judge Michalakis Christodoulou. Papadakis maintains that he does not know Christodoulou and asserts that no such communication ever took place. A press conference is scheduled for tomorrow to publicly release the findings of the examination. The forensic results are presented by Papadakis as evidence to refute the claims made against him. Police authorities are now in possession of the expert's report for further evaluation.
