Department of Road Transport revokes electric vehicle scheme approvals

The Department of Road Transport (TOM) has announced the cancellation of preliminary approvals for the electric vehicle subsidy scheme issued on March 19. This action affects applicants who failed to upload orders or submit required supporting documentation within the specified deadlines. New approvals are now being issued to waitlisted applicants for the D5 grant category, specifically those ranked 601 through 636. Affected individuals are required to upload their orders and submit necessary documents to tomxorigies@rtd.mcw.gov.cy by the deadlines stipulated in their approval notices. The department warned that failure to complete these actions within the given timeframe will result in further cancellations and the moving of opportunities to the next waitlisted candidates. A full list of newly selected applicants and canceled application numbers has been made available to the public. This process is part of a routine clearing of positions left vacant by the original beneficiaries.
