Omonia wins second consecutive women's second division volleyball cup

On the evening of Holy Monday, the Omonia women's volleyball team secured their second consecutive B' Division Cup title. In the 20th final of the Allwyn Cup, named 'Andreas Stavrou', Omonia defeated Panidaliakos with a score of 3-0. The sets concluded at 25-12, 25-15, and 25-18, with the match lasting 1 hour and 25 minutes. The final took place at the Lefkotheo arena in front of more than 600 spectators. Omonia was coached by Dimitris Apostolou, while Panidaliakos was managed by Andreas Pieris. This victory marks a historical achievement for the Omonia team, which dominated the first two sets before facing a more competitive Panidaliakos in the third. The event was formally recognized as a significant fixture in the Cyprus volleyball calendar.
