Israel and Greece sign 650 million euro defense agreement for PULS missile systems
On April 6, 2026, Israel and Greece finalized a 650 million euro defense contract for the supply of PULS precision rocket artillery systems to the Greek military. The agreement, valued at approximately 2.3 billion shekels, designates Elbit Systems as the primary contractor. Under the terms of the deal, Israel will provide launchers and a comprehensive package of guided munitions with varying ranges. The program is scheduled to be implemented over a four-year period, followed by ten years of maintenance and logistical support. The contract also includes provisions for industrial cooperation, with Greek defense industries expected to participate in the production of certain system components. Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz noted that the deal strengthens bilateral security ties. According to the Israeli Ministry of Defense, this export represents one of the largest such agreements signed since the outbreak of the conflict with Iran.
