Rotary Club Nicosia-Lefkothea sends humanitarian aid to Lebanon

The Rotary Club Nicosia-Lefkothea (RCNL) has coordinated the delivery of medical supplies to Lebanon to address needs caused by recent ongoing hostilities. The shipment consists of medicines valued at €78,000, weighing approximately 200 kilograms. The supplies were donated by the pharmaceutical company Medochemie. Logistics and handling at Larnaca Airport were managed by the Air Trans Group. Transportation to Lebanon was provided by Middle East Airlines (MEA). Upon arrival, the distribution is overseen by local Rotary Clubs in Lebanon, coordinated by Assistant Governor Emil Moawad. This initiative marks the fourth humanitarian mission carried out by the RCNL for Lebanon since the August 2020 Beirut port explosion. The project aims to support healthcare services and vulnerable communities affected by the current crisis.
