Construction sector performance in 2025

The Statistical Service reported that the construction production index rose by 5.2% during the period from January to December 2025 compared to the same period in 2024. During the same 12-month timeframe, the producer price index for construction increased by 4.1%. Focusing on the fourth quarter of 2025, the production index reached 135.02 points, marking a 9.0% increase compared to the fourth quarter of 2024. The producer price index for the fourth quarter of 2025 was recorded at 125.72 points. This figure represents a 0.6% increase compared to the third quarter of 2025. Additionally, the producer price index showed a 3.0% rise when compared to the fourth quarter of 2024. All indices utilize a base year of 2021 set at 100.00 points.
